1. Purpose

ShipOdds is a community platform that allows users to place virtual bets on the launch goals of independent SaaS products. Bets are made using "Ships", virtual credits purchased on the platform.

2. Nature of Ships

Ships are virtual credits with no monetary value. They do not constitute currency, cryptocurrency, financial securities, or payment instruments. Ships:

  • Are non-refundable
  • Cannot be exchanged for money
  • Are non-transferable between users
  • Can only be used on ShipOdds to place virtual bets or redeem partner rewards

3. Ship Purchases

Ships are purchased via Stripe. Prices are displayed in euros including all taxes. Purchases are final and non-refundable. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that Ships have no monetary value.

4. Betting Mechanism

Users can bet on "markets" related to goals declared by builders. Bets are irreversible once placed. Ships wagered are immediately deducted from the user's balance.

Market resolution is performed by the ShipOdds administration team according to the resolution criteria defined for each market.

5. Rewards

Earned Ships can be redeemed for partner rewards (subscriptions, promo codes, etc.). Rewards are provided by third-party partners and their availability is not guaranteed. ShipOdds acts as an intermediary and cannot be held responsible for the quality of partner rewards.

6. Limitation of Liability

ShipOdds does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. ShipOdds is not responsible for Ships losses resulting from platform use. Users acknowledge that bets carry a risk of losing all wagered Ships.

7. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Email addresses are used solely for authentication and transactional notifications.

8. Changes to Terms

ShipOdds reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified by email of any substantial changes.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts (tribunaux français).
